Dubai Duty Free has played host to Mexico's cutting-edge tequila brand, Maestro DOBEL® with a captivating display from Proximo Spirits showcasing the luxury and innovation of DOBEL® 50 Cristalino and DOBEL® 50 Extra Anejo 1969 Limited Edition tequilas in Concourse B at Dubai International Airport.
The launch of DOBEL® 50 as a luxury spirit in travel retail, targets high end spirit drinkers who are looking to expand and diversify their drinking occasion, with an activation which sees two fully dressed pillars manned by a team of brand ambassadors offering a dynamic and enticing drinking experience for travelers.
Proximo Spirits will bring the craftmanship of Maestro DOBEL® 50 to discerning customers with DOBEL® 50 Extra Anejo 1969 Limited Edition tequila, a prestige tequila that exists on a par with malt whiskey, luxury cognac or vintage champagne. This premium tequila is joined by another world-class variant from the rich volcanic soil of single estates in Jalisco, Mexico– the DOBEL® 50 Cristalino, a multi-aged tequila which is crystal-clear, deceptively complex, and perfect for sipping neat for a special occasion or as an after-dinner drink.
Both handcrafted tequilas are cultivated for at least eight years before being harvested. Aged in the finest American and French oak barrels before being uniquely finished in Sauternes barrels. The presentation in Dubai Duty Free will be one of the largest collections of DOBEL® 50 Extra Anejo 1969 Limited Edition on sale across the world as the opulent elegance of this tequila has only been produced into 10,000 bottles.
